Gentle Giants is an XL, two-dimensional installation inspired by the significance of relationships with non-human and imaginary friends. Humongous humanoid flora and fauna populate Saskatoon’s city streets. They invite us to prioritize comfort, kindness, connection, and fun.

The playful scale of these larger-than-life characters aims to ignite imaginations and help people reconnect with feelings of childhood wonder and curiosity. The role reversal reminds people to be mindful and care about others, regardless of size or species. After all, we would want the 10-foot-tall flower people to be kind to us.
